If anyone is sports deserves a championship it's Ray Bourque. Here in Boston, we don't like players who jump ship, but given the fact that Ray deserved a Stanley Cup and the Bruins were not investing in a championship team, EVERYBODY urged him to ask for a trade to a potential winner. Now the Avs are at Lord Stanleys doorstep. Let's all cheer for one of the best defensemen ever, as well as perhaps the classiest person to play any professional sport. Ray Bourque certainly is a guy who embodies all that is good about Sport and someone we need to have more of! I certainly hope that the Avs win and Ray can hold the Cup high above his head. Best defenseman ever also wore black and yellow............Bobby Orr.
