Well you did take a shot at me by saying didn't they teach that in college and it was a reading comprehension problem. I don't care if you were "venting" frusrations or not I read what you wrote.

If ever a thread developed to illustrate the Golden Rule, this one is it. Everyone... let's try to simply treat everyone else as we would like to be treated ourselves. Everyone will benefit from this attitude. Flame Wars are totally non-productive and bring disharmony to a great board.

I have a list of more than THREE DOZEN guys who have left ... I've sent personal e-mails to many of them and have received their responses ... I KNOW why they left ... additionally, I got a personal note this morning from a long established, well respected member of the forum outlining his frustrations with the developments of the past year and his frustration over them but adding why he HASN'T left ...

His reasons for not leaving are exactly like mine ... over the course of years, not days or weeks, many of us have come to feel about one another as family ... and we are too reluctant to walk away from family in a time of crisis ... and make no mistake about it, the forum IS in crisis ...

I agree that we should act like a family but members take cheap shots at each other and it is hard to repect everyone when his happens.

A very few people here (myself included), may take what you call 'cheap shots' at certain individuals (I still think you are being a bit insecure about it), and you find it is hard to respect 'everyone' when this happens?

Everyone knows (or should know by now) that the Internet is unlike most means of modern communication. The Internet is considered a 'Dead' medium, because Net communication is simply text - without any emotions!

On the Net, there is not the person to person contact that exists when using the telephone and or when conversing in person. Therefore, posts and messages can often be misinterpreted, since those reading your post can not tell your vocal inflections, body language, facial expressions and other clues to the actual meaning of what you write.

A great deal of confusion can arise because of this ... and I apologize for not stating that I was irritated when I posted my comment.

I apoligize too and let just end all this. We need to be exsamples of BOTL or no one is going to want to come here anymore.
