Ok gang, I just went through 915 threads using the word "herf" to learn what's involved in throwing one. I've never been to one so I have no clue how easy/difficult it is. Would all the experts please enlighten me. Thanks.

You guy's have never thrown a party before, or had a bunch of people over for drinks, good good, good conversation, good music, cards, etc.?

The only difference, is that everyone who attends ... smokes cigars too ... and they usually bring enough to smoke, share, gift, trade, etc.

The point that Slim makes so well, is that the real fun of the herf is the sharing, trading and gifting that ususally goes on! Anyone can smoke, but only real brothers of the leaf herf.!

Gather, smoke cigars, share some joy and your smokes... your herfin'!

Thanks,guys. I had a pretty good idea of the basics (a party), but I wasn't sure of some of the specifics.
I've seen some posts where a shop gets involved, and things like that. So, I guess I was looking for ideas from experienced herf throwers.

lmao Then I herf all the time and never knew it! I just knew I was having a blast. We play volleyball then sit around, in the summer till 11 sometimes, smokeing cigars and telling lies on the beach. Next year anyone in LA area let me know Rob
