Recently I received a CI Gift Certificate from my mother-in-law for my birthday. I wonder if anyone knows if it can be used here at CB? I guess it would be a tricky since my credit card is in my profile for payments on bids.

Press that little customer sevice button and send them an email asking about it. You have nothing to lose by asking!

Sorry W2VQY, but a Gift Certificate for CI has to be used at CI. While CigarBid and Cigars International are related, they are completely separate companies.

Personally, I don't think that would be a bad idea.
I would seriously consider buying gift certificates.

I think Gift Certificates to CBid would be great. You've got dollars to spend but you have to win the bid. Sorta like gambling, only you don't lose your money. Not sure how you would work it, though. Guess you would have to email them with the certificate number when you wanted it credited to your account.

Thank you all for your answers and comments. I also would be interested in something like "CBid Gift Points" or "CBid Gift Credits". Would be great for my family since they know little regarding cigars, but would like to give something they know I would like......... besides new socks.
