If I am understanding this was made primarily for distribtuion in Texas. I am heading to Dallas in a few days, is there a shop near DFW that carries these? Hope this isn't offensive to CBid but these don't appear to be available here.

If you can get them for $60 a box ... you are doing real good!

The wholesale price from the factory to retailers, is $51 a box ...

"Slim" your Right about that..
"rasta" Please forgive me I made a typo on that post about the price...typing to fast too many other windows open at once and NOT proff reading before hitting enter... It should have been. "don't pay over $80 per box NOT $60..Dang I feel bad about that I really do.." I'm very Sorry about that mistake...Thanks Slim for your Post That screw up could have cost me More than you know....TinMan

Is that a box of 12 or 24?

... that would be a box of 12 ... same as the 'el Capitan Reserva' (N & M) and the 'Full Sail' ...

... the 'Peg Leg' come in boxes of 14 ...

BTW -- the Texas Star is a medium-bodied blend of Costa Rica Maduro wrapper, fine Dominican & Nicaragua filler, and a Dominican binder ... aged three years before they are released ...

Is this the Texas Star you are talking about here in Euless? If so, I am about 3 miles from the facilities.

Buffalo,

I think people outside of Dallas will not understand your "joke"

"Texas Star" is a golf course just outside of Dallas

It's also a great beer! Oh wait... that's Lone Star.... and it's not great....not to be confused with Lone Wolf which is neither great, nor from Texas.... and Wolf Brand Chili isn't from Texas either, but Texans make the best chili in the world.... did anyone catch that thread a while ago about a yankee guest judging a Texas chili contest - now that was funny... what were we talking about? Oh, yeah, Texas Stars - dem are good. Where in DFW are you gonna be - and I can steer you towards some if Tin don't hook you up...

I just bought a couple of Texas Buc in Indiana. And the shop did buy them directly from Bucanero. I'm looking forward to lighting it up!

the info on the Stars was given to me by the owner of Bucanero himself(Robert). If he has changed his mind since the spring, so be it.
