I had my first Cuesta-Rey (also a Centro Fino SG) in the Dominican #60(?) size.

Really smooth, perfect construction, and very tasty.

Smoked one on the way into work this morning (my second which was part of a birthday bomb) and wasn't that inpressed. It was very mellow and the burn after the half way point was really bad, had to keep touching it up which sucks when you are driving.

The Pyramid #9 SG is much better than the other SG's IMHO.

I just picked up the little maduro beli, good little smoke! I need to try the SGs though, how do they compare to the fuente SGs?

I prefer the #11 and #7 over the #9. They have a bit more bite to em'. Picked up a box of #60's but haven't got to try one yet. Will burn one this weekend.

I was at my local shop last week and picked up a few of Cuesta Rey's new sun grown's (went in specifically to look for some 858SG's, no luck, the clerk suggested the CR's). Smoked one immediately and put the others away to rest. Very fine cigar and not too expensive.

Anyone know this???

How do they compare to the fuente SGs?

Bought a box of 10 Pyramid #9 for $42.00. I really enjoy this one. Letting some rest for awhile.

Just had my first Cuesta Rey also. It was a Vintage Centenario (on the label). Not sure what else. Might have been a Natural wrapper, good for a morning smooth smoke. Wrapper was veiny and I had to retouch it to flame probably 5 times, which was unwelcome, but that's ok. Could be cause I was outside and it was windy there. But it was a pretty good smoke, might be ok for mornings, but not for something strong (which is my preference).
