I was gifted a box of these "Monteverde" about 9 years ago, I still have 6 left. I have never heard of them and hope someone on this experienced forum could offer me some info.

They are torpedos, handmade with natural wrappers. The band is gold foil with red and green artwork, quite detailed for this level stick. I am sure they were middle of the road sticks, but even after all these years still are very smokeable! And actually quite nice!

No doubt, I am sure they were a here today, gone tomorrow stick of the go-go 90's.

I am just curious about who manufactured them, and specifically where. And what they sold for back in the day.
