Has anyone else ever noticed that cigars in tubes always seen to be dry? Unless I take them out of the tube and give them some serious 'Dor time they are brittle and crack. I've had dry CAO, Macs, Monteies, the list goes on. The sealed glass tubes seem to be the worst. Just putting the tubes in the 'Dor isn't good enough.

Very True,I always take them out of the tubes. The only ones I still have left in tubes are the Makers Mark collector 3 pk.I haven't heard of anyone who really likes them so I guess I'll just hang on to them.

that's because they are probably very old. i have purchased boxes of cigars in glass tubes that were fresh from the companies and even kept a few in the trunk of my car during the summer without them drying out. i have some recent ones in glass tubes that came to me dry and putting them in a humidor is a band aid. the best you can do is return them.

The tubes look nice, but they do tend to dry the cigars out a bit! Take them out of the tubes! Charlie

save the tubes for the acids and Lars cigars so they don't stink up your `dor. Can't see why anyone would have these **** sticks to begin with, but just thought I'd share the knowledge anyway. Cheers

wannyburger, A friend gave me one of those Acid Cigars. I put it in an old Padron box. Whenever my wife thinks the house stinks I just open the box. It's the best inscensce I've ever had.

funny you mention that, I keep a few in the old underwear drawer. My wife always asks why I smell like a high school urinal. Then I say, how do you know what a urinal smells like? Never did get a straight answer to that one. hmmmmm...
