I have a bought a box and a 5 pack of the Bistro variety. Has anyone else had problems with the burn on these? From the first one I tried when I first got the box, to the few I have tried since (bought them about 2.5 months ago), the wrappers don't burn properly. I have not had any similar problems with other cigars in that humi. The humidity is around 65%.

Maybe they are surrendering?

I smoked an omnibus a long time ago and remeber it burning badly!.... havent had one since!

I went through and entire box of the Royal ... size, something like a 7x40. And also I have a box of the Bistrot from which I have smoked about 10. I have had no burn problems at all. They smoked exactly as advertised. I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties.

Have tried several of the Maxim's de Paris. Not really too bad for an inexpensive cigar (got mine in a bundle deal). Aging helps them a lot. Also I've found that they are "consistently inconsistent" if that makes any sense. That is, I never know when I light one how it will burn, i.e., perhaps with no problem at all throughout the cigar, perhaps I'm going to have to be continuously relighting it to try to, "even it up." Just the nature of that cigar, I figure...............letting you know that you are not the only one with this problem with this particular cigar.............

Actually, Ive never had a problem with burn with these. they burn nice and evenly with a nice long white ash. But ive aged them for about 2 years in my humidor.

I've had no problems with my Maxims, Even burn with 2 sometimes 3 inches of ash all of the time. Great deal for the price I thought. YMMV.
