These taste great for their price. In no apparent order: 1-Bolivar Fuerte Cabinet #654. New cigar that's good now and should be better with age. 2-CAO L'Anni eXtreme churchill. These are harsh off the truck. Sit on them for 6-8 months and they're great.(My last box was $100, but I see they've gone up a tad so they're a little over $5) 3-El Original Toro mad. Nice complex taste although I don't find them as strong as most people do. 4-Excalibur Prensado. This is probably my favorite cigar. If it got any more earthy, you'd be in a crypt. 5-ERDM Robusta Larga. If you can keep these around long enough to age, they're right up there with the Prensado. Definite taste of milk chocolate.(Rectangulare mads aren't too shabby either) 6-Sosa Governor mad. This whole line in mad suits me just fine. The nats are pretty good too. 7-Flor de Copan churchill. This is one of the few cigars that, to me anyway, has the same taste from start to finish. Definitely zippy! 8-JRUltimate Principale XX. Another case of the whole line in mad or XX being very good with the Principale just a tad better than the rest. 9-La Escepcion Dalias. The rich desert after dinner cigar. 10-International toro mad. For those of you looking for full taste yet mild body, look no further. Thanks Wany for inspiring me.

Nice list. As unklebill pointed out to me when I spoke of some recent favorites, many of which are listed here, he told me it appeared I was a "Lewser". I believe you are, too, Mel. Bolivar Fuertes are too new to tell, but I'm guessing these things must be excellent with age. I smoked one immediately after receiving it, and it was IMO very good. Got one pulled out for this evening! Genuine Counterfeit Cubans are mighty tasty too. By the way, ya got my shipment yet?

Cliff, I don't really care for the GCCCs. The Pre Embargos, which will be coming out soon, are much better IMO. Don't think it's so much being a "Lewser" as it is being a fan of Villazon. They seem to know how to blend a good cigar. Even their mixed filler, the ERDM Corona Inmensa in maduro is great for the price. As far as the box goes, ya got mail!

I agree with your entire list except the CAO Extreme. I have never sat on any for 8 months (which by the by sounds rediculous for such an expensive cigar). The ones (2) I have had were flat tasting....boring in other words. And the Flor de Copan: the ones I have had were flavorless. But other than that, I agree with your list 100%.... Except I hav never tried the La Escepcion nor the Internationals. But otherwise, I could not agree more. I am in the Villazone!!!

I had the same experiences with Plor De Copan..No flavor at all...The GCCs are an excellent smoke!...I tried a couple thanks to Jojo and I was really impressed with the loads of flavor and spice, plus an excellent box press!

I agree with a lot of the cigars already posted on a scale of 1-5 in the strength department, my favorite 5's that haven't been mentioned... Mancini Robusto Larga Mad: Mancini Magic Mountain: Man. Robusto Larga; Mayorga Maduro Robusto; Mayorga Torpedo Maduro: For a $1.25 a stick Jose Marti Robustos; for .90 cents La Finca Corona. Slightly milder cigars would be the Nestor Reserve Edition 2000 Torpedo Maduro; Sancho Panza Caballero; Leon Jimenes Belicoso #2 Mad.; and of course my morning drive cigar Hemingway Short Story. Sorry I went over by one, but I could of went on and on!! Got to go catch a quick smoke, now~!

Ahh yes - the Prensado. If you can believe this, I bought a box of them for $49.95 in May 2000 and I lost them in my humi somewhere. Need to go exploring tonight.

It's amusing how peoples' tastes vary. I just read the thread about the La Luna '96 Reserva "R", which I consider to be an excellent, complex, rich tasting cigar, but there were several posters who despised it.

My experience with the Flor de Copan was similar to unklebill's. And I must have gotten a bad box of the JR Ult Principales, because everyone seems to like this cigar but mine were sadly lacking in the flavor department.

No wonder there are so many different brands.

I always considered the Punch Roth dbl mad to be a rich tasting cigar, but the other day a friend was telling me that they have gone downhill. I haven't bought any in a while, but the box I bought 20 months ago was grrrrreat.
