I guess I missed the rule stating that "No obnoxious pics of the President dressed like Hitler will be allowed on the Picture Post"....He should have the right to post a pic like that...Why is it wrong for him to post an insulting pic of the President, when it was OK for us to post insulting pics of Clinton when the dirtbag was in office?...Kind of "double-standard" thinking, doncha think Charlie?....And yes, I am a Republican who did vote for President Bush (and I'm glad that I did).

Charlie, whoah! Why the attack on me? I don't recall every conversing with you at any level (phone, email, or otherwise.) I assume you meant "too dumb" and not "to dumb" because I've never seen dumb used as a verb. I attempt to leave this site as open as possible keeping restrictions to a minimum. Thanks to Slim, I have a great watchdog out here b/c I can't always stare down every post and every word spoken. CigarBid doesn't necessarily agree with the opinions or picture posts on this site. But, an open, candid forum spurs discussion and incredible debates. Without debate and open forums, you'd have a bunch of societal clones. Yes, I considered pulling the Hitler post, but the discussion that ensued was intellectual, open, and honest. Charlie, posting to this forum is a privilege, not an inalienable right, and posting such a slanderous comment can only curb that privilege. Come'on, there is no need for crap like this on the boards.

Gonz, take it easy on Charlie. I believe his intention was to conserve "o's" by using the word "to" versus the gramatically correct "too". So, you see, he was in fact saving band width and therefore keeping the board lightning quick at no extra cost to you! You should be THANKING him, not chastizing him. Now, if you'all excuse me, I'm going to visit the picture post to take a peak at the picture in question...

Maybe I worded it wrong...What I meant was that he (Rick)has the right to express himself without intrusion from government which is what our Constitution is based upon...This same document gives us the right to keep and bear arms (at least for now) among other rights....Although I also find Rick's pic in unbelievably bad taste and disrespectful, I have to recognize that he (like all of us) have the right to express ourselves (not necessarily the right to express our opinions, etc HERE...This is (like Gonz said) a privilege to use their forums and we thank Cigarbid for this great forum...OK...I'm done...I'm getting off the soapbox now...KC
