Won a 5-pack bid for the Mac Lords made in Jamaica and thought I might be able to enjoy that old blend that was so creamy, dependable and tasty. But long and behold the flavour just wasn't there. Any comments?

Ahhh you beat me to the punch Dr. I was going to say:

"They make Macs with flavor?"

Okay, the jokes on me. Macs are Macs. I know. However there used to be a time when this cigar had a personality. Now it's in a coma. Se la Vi.

I still enjoy a Macanudo now and then, construction is good and so far, the burns have been good.

It it's good enough for Tony Soprano, it's good enough for me....


(oh, but it's not my favorite brand..)

Maybe your tastes have just matured. I know that even in the 7-8 months I've enjoyed cigars, that I learn ever more and more to the full-bodied stuff.

Chances are that two out of the five-pack will be rolled so tight that you won't be able to smoke them... Reason I gave up on Macanudos
