The author was obviously drunk when he wrote that. How simplistic and petty of this guy to put President Bush's thoughts and feelings into his own pathetic life simply because both shared a common disease which they have subsequently conquered. It was certainly witty at times, but the message was flat. No wonder I've never heard of "Salon" before.
