Rick, I have not posted on these boards for some time and this will probably be my last post because of what I have to say. You can have your opinions like anyone else in this country. You can berate the president, you can rant and rave nonsensically about what is happening in the world and I can disagree with you all I want. We can do these things thanks to the many men and women who have sacrificed so much during the history of our country. I don't think we disagree very much on that point. I can see you are not a person who can look much beyond the end of your nose to see anything. It is with that narrow outlook that you make the statements that you do and try to force your sheltered ideas down other peoples throats. We know what you think of our president, his policies and how he has proceeded to implement them. You are welcomed to that opinion. You are not welcome to belittle his efforts to convey to our troops how WE feel about them. I appreciate the presidents effort in that regard, I wish it could have been me as do many other Americans. President Bush was there representing ME which is what I elected him to do. I thank him and I thank God he was able to bring the kind of support to our troops that he did, and he did it in my name. Don't try to take that away from anyone. Don't.
So it is here where I must slip into the venecular.

This place is easy to live with if you keep your head screwed on. There are those who require special handling here and those who's opinions are expected and unwavering.

The choice to open a thread, read a thread, hit the "reply" button, type and post a reply is entirely up to the member. If someone is going to go somewhere you expect them to go in their thread, you can always move on to the next thread or go ahead and read it.

If you feel an opinion is a bonehead one; if you feel the thread is stupid or you can read from the description that it will agitate you; don't open it, don't read it...and if against all common sense you do it anyway....don't respond.

The worst thing you can do to someone you don't agree with is to not read and react to their post.

BTW...I like the pic. It's easy to not see what is written.
