A bunch of us recently started one up, basically you just gotta get about 10 people interested (hopefully not all of them born in the same month) and then send out a list of b-days and addies to everyone you get together, along with setting rules as far as what to send and everything.

well, Thats one of the reasons I'ld like to talk with someone who's done it before, to avoid some of those "I didn't think of that" situations. The benifit of experience is not lost on this one 🙂

I belong to a club currently with 10 members. If you want to host a club just post the thread inviting members to join. Like Mr. O said try to limit it to 10 or 12 at the most. Ask the applicants for their name, email and birth date. You will get a lot of responses and will have to sift through the applicants to limit how many birthdays you have in each month. That's a good way to start with the rules.... if you have more than 2 people in the same month it can be more than some people want to spend. Each member in the club sends out 5 nice gars to the BIRTHDAY BOY before or near his B-Day. You may even want to limit it to one birthday per month and in that case it would be on a first come, first serve basis. That way each member would be sending out 60 cigars total, plus postage, over the course of the year. Of course each member will also receive at least 60 gars on his B-Day.
Once you have the members established you can collect their personal info: Name, mailing address, cigar preferences etc. If you would like to get this going I would be happy to send a blank excel spread sheet template for your use. You can enter all the member info after it is collected and mail it out to each member.

BTW, I'd be interested in joining!
