wow...long pants!!! Haven't seen those since the Flyers used to wear them back in the day (80s?). Good to see you've got your head up. Most folks skate with their heads down because they only play in no-check leagues...makes for a hard transition if they ever play in a checking league. That's where I had FUN!!! Well, that and my uncle gave me a pair of his old gloves that had the palms cut out so I could hold without being noticed by the refs...

that's not us. we play at the Dr.Pepper Starscenter (part of the Dallas Stars org.) - the guys who started our team came from the Richardson team and brought the name with them. Actually, I just left them b/c I was recruited by another team (I'm a pretty hot commodity), my agent is in negotiations with the Dallas Stars...

We had a minor league hockey team...but the owner went bankrupt and stole the skates...

Now we dont have the El Paso Buzzards anymore...

I have good friends in Hockey. Both are Goalies, and one is the back-up to Brodeur in Jersey. His name is Corey Shwab. Some may have heard of him ,but he doesn't get too much playing time behind the best goalie in the NHL. Another buddy o' mine, plays in Tupelo Mississippi for the T-Rex. Just thought I'd share my hockey connections.

My only hockey ties lie with a distant cousin (maybe 6th or 7th) named Jacques DeMers. Some of you may remember him as head coach for the Blackhawks and Canadiens. A very hated man in both cities...
