In the Original Birthday Club, we limited it to 2 Premium smokes, no dollar limit. Just a cigar that you would consider a treat, and save for a special occassion. At that time, I thought of CAO, as a special treat. Now the special treats, are PAMs, ISOM's, Hemingway Maddies. It is amazing how much difference, a year makes. Not to mention getting spoiled when the bombs finish landing, and you have all those great cigars to smoke. I found that most people in the original Birthday Club, couldn't count. Also found out what a super Premium domestic cigar was like. Also discovered the unique flavor of ISOM's. What was once, my go to cigar, is now a dog rocket, and my everyday smokes, were once my special occassion smokes.
INSTRUCTIONS
Make a spreadsheet, with everyones Birthday, cbid handle, real name, email address, snailer, and cigar preferences. Check the references, of any whom you have never traded with. I didn't with the original birthday club. Just got lucky I guess. Attatch the spreadsheet, and email it to everyone in the club. You may want to limit the number of birthdays allowed per month. 5 Birthdays, in one month, can put a strain on the cigar budget, unless you have a good stock, I do now, didn't then. Of course, back then I spent money on things like house payments, truck note, which I no longer have, PAID THEM OFF Yahooooooooo. Now I can spend money on the important things, cigars, single malt scotch, and women. LOL
If you start a birthday club, have fun. I hope you enjoy yours half as much as I enjoyed mine. If so you will be having a blast.
