Just finished my first Full Sail. In the imortal words of Bo Diddley ala Trading Places...

"Burnt my fingers, man."

Don't usually like to review a cigar 'til I've had at least 2, but I've gotta' say a few things.

A beautiful, oily, shiny cigar. Wrapper brought to mind the crystaline sparkle of some other smokables readily available in my neck of the woods (Santa Cruz, CA).

Lit it up. First draw was silky smooth. Exquisite. In a word... "Yummy!" Somewhat sweet, earthy and complex. Turned slightly spicy with light coffee overtones toward the end.

Burn-Perfect
Ash-Light, light grey
Ample sweet smoke

I was a bit skeptical about this one, whether it's worth the premium price tag. Well my fears have been laid to rest. My budget doesn't allow this to be a daily treat, but I think once a week is fair.

Can't wait to try the Peg Legs, Salsas and Zs that I've recently acquired.

This is my Fav from bucanero Salsa being a very close second, If you buy them by the box they are waaaay cheaper 🙂

I smoked a Bucanero once.

I bought all of these I listed by the box. I don't think I've seen 5-packs of these, at least at CBid or CI.

I had my first fullsail two days ago...still haunting me.

I tried a few Clasico Maddie Belis. early last year and enjoyed them. Sparked one up a few weeks ago with over 6 mos. rest and Wow! What a difference! My O' Maddie Orions did the same thing.

BTW. I forgot to mention in my review how well she held her burn. I was forced to leave her outside for longer than I would've liked while I went in and out of the office. It sounds risky, but after the first few times I knew I could count on her to be ready and waiting for me. And she was. After well over a minute, each time the first puff was full of creamy smoke.

I think I'm in love. Don't anyone tell my wife I have a mistress.

I had my first Full Sail yesterday as well. I'm convinced that everything Don Douglas is involved with is an excellent product. Still look forward to trying the Z and Salsa if I ever win a box.

The Full Sail is hands down my fav Buc followed by a well aged, ploomed Buc Classic Maddie. Get some age on those Full Sails and ye be in pirate heaven, lad..ARRRRRR!! and lookin' 'f yer eye patch! arrr!

Definitely, one of my top 10 choices (along with the obvious PA64, AF Hemingways+Don Carlos, CAO Brazilia's, Monte #2, Ashton VSG, Perdomo, and really unexpected . . . Hoja de Nicaragua's)
