I received an interesting ISOM Partgas that is 3 sticks twisted together, and tied with string, wrapped in a foil bag. I have seen one before, but never paid attention. What is it called, and what is the smoke ettiquette? Break it into individuals, or, smoke 'em all at once and bet on the winner?

those are called "culebras," and they were originally cigars the rollers took home with them. you can google up an interesting history of the culebras.

they're meant to be smoked individually, but from what i understand, that can be a bit of a challenge, as the individual sticks retain their braid-twisted shape when you take the trio apart. it's predominantly sold as a novelty cigar now. you might just want to hang on to it and not bother trying to smoke 'em!

I disagree with the novelty status. I know of many people that smoke them for a "quick, cheap Cuban smoke". It certainly will get some attention if you smoke one around others though. Kind of looks like someone sat on a cigar or something.

Another site I peruse frequently gave them pretty high marks...

Now the Drew Estate "Egg"... That I would call a novelty..
