Thanks to Robby's suggestion on an old thread I made about these things... I found what he was talking about. I ordered it at a brewing company. Its a thermistat that you buy to keep fridges at diffent temps than what they were meant for. You plug the unit into the wall and then the fridge into the unit. The unit has a thermometer lead that you put in the fridge. So the unit cycles the power at the source and controls the temp that way. I hope I get it soon.

Nice!! I need to come up with something this size.

I got it at Home Depot for 199.00.... So check out there website. They have two sizes. One for 16 bottles and one for 30. I was going to buy the 16 one but I'm really glad I didn't. I wouldn't have had room for the humidors. When I get the temp straight and the Humidity I might just put some singles in there in the open. I still need to make some cedar shelves with some holes for ventalation.

From the website it sounds as though it's not auto-frost-free like an old-school fridge. If so, it will not de-humidify unless you tell it too. I'm very curious to see how this works out for you. I'm considering doing the same thing with an old non-frost-free fridge.
