Smoked one last night which I received in a recent trade. I don't really care about the Pre-embargo hype, I just found it to be a very tasty treat, and I want MORE. -Marc- [email protected]

They actually have pre-embargo cuban filler blended with honduran filler. They arent 100% pre-embargo cuban tobacco like the Gurkahs.

TopJimmy,

Pinar:

There are different lines one is a 100% Cuban tobacco and the other (Serie "B") is 50% Cuban and 50% hunduran. They are both quite different

The 100% Cuban line:

Medium to Full bodied and VERY smooth. A great stick but a little pricy. A real tobacco flavor to the smoke and always well constructed. The best comparrison I can come up with is the Monte # 2.

The Serie "B" line:

Full bodied and a little spicy. A great smoke to let site a while (2 years or so) and mellow out. Others will say that its great to smoke out of the box. Either way its a very good smoke with a long finish. The best comparison is maybe an OPUS X Fuente Fuente but I am probably gonna get my head ripped off for that comment. Either way its a great smoke. The only down side is that the Pinar form my experience are a little tight to draw form time to time.

This is just my humble opinion.

Your best bet is to spend the cash and pick up a 5 pack when you can and take the Pepsi challange.

Happy Smokin,
