I am curious about an Anejo I have in my collection. I received it several years ago. It is a torpedo, which I always just assumed was a shark. However, unlike a shark, it is " in the round " ... not square pressed. Does anyone have any information on this size of Anejo ? Thanx. "KoS"

It's only a 'Shark' if it has a big 'box-pressed' foot ... the 'body' is rounded, and the cap is a 'Torp' ... with no cedar, and a 'red foot'.

It's most likely an Anejo 55, if is is the Beli shape, with cedar ...

If it is the 'Beli' shape, without cedar ... it's the 'original' Anejo 55, with the seven year aged in oak cask wrapper ... and very rare.

... all the rest, the wrappers are only aged for one year, and will say 'Reserva Xtra Viejo' on the cello ...

We were talking about this last night at the seattle Herf... I believe I have one of these originals without the cedar. Show and tell for our next herf

The one I sent is a #77 Shark. Slim is correct.....now tell us if it is a original relase or not?

I'm dyin to know, cause everything else you have is aged about 7 years....or atleast looks like it. Hehehe

It is an original release 55. Without the cedar.

But it has all this funny white fuzzy stuff all over it so I ended up tossing it in the trash.

I gotta start taking better care of my cigars.

Okay, before you guys all go into cardiac arrest, I know all about plume and was only teasing. This is great. I have had this cigar for years, and I now find out is is a very special edition. I almost feel as if I just received the cigar all over again, now knowing how special the baby is. "KoS"

I'll right.... I dug into my treasure chest and uncovered the Old Anejo 55 without the cedar wrap. When I bought this, I was told that this was the original Anejo (first release).

No mold on mine.... I will bring it for Show and Tell at the next Seattle Herf. But I'm not smoking it for a long time.... Maybe we'll post a picture of this soon
