Nice!

Out of all the woods, I admire maple the most. It's hard and durable but the grain is opposite soft and pale.

Good job!

A pleasure to see the result of pure craft. How'd you learn to do that?

I started with a golden stain. Just one coat. Then many coats of tung oil varnish sanded to 12,000 grit. I started out doing humidors from plans. As I became more confident, I tried different things. This whole humidor is a big experiment. It worked out okay! My next will be even better.

Where do you get your wood, and what kind of router do you use?

Cigarick, I get my wood at a local place. Colonial Hardwoods. They plane it to spec. I have a 2hp Craftsman router. If I could do it over, I'd buy the next size up DeWalt. Ya get what ya pay for!
