Has anyone had any of these yet? I like La Auroras but always wished they had a little more "kick" to them.

I'd been trying to score some & finally had some luck. Taste fine to me & the corojo wrapper is an interesting add to the La Aurora line. Nice & spicey, but not overwhelming.

Thanks!

Have tried the robusto and torpedo. Both are ok. They start with a mild taste that I can't really peg but it is not particularly good (ammonia?). After the cigar heats up that flavor disappears. This is when the cigar turns much friendlier. They may be a little young and need some serious humi time. HTH

Received a 5 pack of the robusto's from cbid yesterday. I smoked one later in the evening, as I always do after receiving my shipment. The cigar wrapper has a unique color to it, the cigar cut nicely/evenly, did a pre-draw and I knew this cigar was going to draw well. I toasted the foot and the aroma was pleasant. I am not good at describing flavors but I really liked the flavor of this cigar, it was diffently unique from other cigars I have smoked. The ash held on for over 1 1/2 inches before falling off on its own. The ash held together well.

This cigar was very smooth (no harshness at all). I would say this cigar is medium bodied. I am very pleased with this purchase and looking forward to smoking the rest of them after some humidor time 🙂

I like the #4 and Robusto's in this line. X

haven't had one of these. heck, hadn't even HEARD of these. i thought "hey, cool! a mini cigar from leon jiminez!" lol

this is from La Aurora, yeah? anyone know how they stack up to their preferidos?

one fine day i'm going to walk into my local store and buy one of those tubed preffies and smoke it on the spot and buy another for the road. heh. *dreams* 🙂

I bought a box of these, I was not disapointed with the purchase. It's been a few months+ since I've had one, maybe tonite.
