I've found that the acids and the naturals have very thin wrappers that are really delicate. Any improper care could result in the wrapper cracking.

I just tried a Drew Estates La Vieja (sp?) that the local shop gifted to me.....I didn't like it at all either. Very loose it seemed, but no draw, very light taste.

now, give me a La Vieja Havana by drew estates ANY time. i LOVE that cigar! only had it in a small size, but the two i've had i thoroughly enjoyed.

that's pretty astounding, because i've not even remotely liked the 3 other DE smokes i've tried (the aromatics at least).

i was all kinds of curious about this one (pimp stick), but it sounds like the construction hassles aren't worth it. :/

I enjoy the Pimp Sticks... But have had a few problems now and again with them. They are a mild smoke with a slight marshmellow flavor. Well that's the only way I can describe them. Slightly sweet. Not like the Kahluas which I do not like at all. I've had a few Pimp Sticks that smoked like I had lit the wrong end. Lots of veins sticking out on my forhead and not much smoke. But I've also had a few that were dead on and smoked great.

most of the drew line i've tasted i've liked . i have had a couple of instances of wrapper crackling and falling apart.....i think when it starts to get heated and dries out it starts crackling.

but if anyone has any drew's they don't want or like...hey.....i'll be more than happy to eliviate your problem by taking them off your hands !

i'll even drop a return package...my choice as a suprise.

If anyone has some drew estate gars they don't want send them to me. I like most that I have tried except for the Def Sea. For some reason that one didn't do it for me. I thouroughly enjoy the Extra Ordinary Larry and the Acid One. The La Vieja Habanas are cool also. Just holla and I will be glad to take them off your hands.

Now I really like the Acid line and hae enjoyed man of the natural. I've even had an Ambrosia and like it... but I have to say, the several La Vieja Habana's I've had were all terrible. I have tried them a few times to make sure I was giving them a fair shake, but each time, they tasted like dirt.

One thing I love about the acids is the aroma. Expecially when I am smoking around people who aren't, like in a casino... The aroma is pleasant so I don't worry as much about the person next to me who wouldn't normally like the smoke.

I guess I am just a dirt lover. 🙂

Seriously, I really enjoy the LVHs, they are smoother than what I normally smoke so I use them for breakfast cigars.
