I'm kinda retro tonight. Was shifting some cigars from a large humidor (300 ct.) to a LARGER one (I can still remember when the furniture in my apartment was something other than humidors for cigar storage.......of course that was before Cbid) when I found three ordinary, garden-variety Punch natural churchills. As nearly as I can guesstimate they have almost five years of humi time on them. Fired one up with a snifter of VSOP brandy and..........ahhhhhhh!
Had forgotten just what a great smoke this is, full-bodied, but smooth and mellow, without a hint of harshness........burns/smokes like a dream, with an easy draw and snowy ash. Has just a tiny hint of natural tobacco sweetness...........Ah well, I get carried away sometimes, but occasionally it takes a cigar like this to remind me of why I invest so much time, energy, money in the pursuit of cigars........te smoay
