if you don't know your history, you are going to repeat it.

Rick,

Posting the same link on two different threads?

A cry for attention? As anti-Bush as you are, will you register to vote this year and do something about it or just stick to spam.

i think if i repeat the message over and over again,
i will achieve the same result the white house does.

in their case if you say WMD enough times, people will believe it. have you, in your own mind, criticized the little w regime for the same repetitiveness?

Rick,

You still missed a question.

As anti-Bush as you are, will you register to vote this year and do something about it or just stick to spam?

As for your question, I am unfamiliar with the term little w regime.

In regards to weapons of mass destruction, I am comfortable with the events of the past year and understand why former President Clinton, who after eight years of dealing with Iraq, fully supported the actions of President Bush regarding invading Iraq and has not wavered from that position regardless of how much weapon material has or has not been found. This support may appear to you to be 12 years of Democrat/Republican conspiracy with unmarked black helicopters flying overhead but nevertheless you should find it interesting.

yes i will reregister to vote. i will vote for whoever the democrats nominate. i would vote for jack the ripper before i vote for little w. at least jack only killed a few people. so far little w is head of himself. he is allowing more americans to be murdered during this invented conflict the he allowed as governer of texas.

remember this is a person who as a child found delight in shoving fire crackers in a frog's mouth to see the frog explode.

if you missed the post, i was mysteriously missing from the voter registration. i was listed as a democrat. i have lived in the same house since 1969. i have voted whenever found something to vote about, but was denied my voting rights during the last presidential election.

toby is registered as a republican. she was on the registration.

and whoever suggested i speak with the in charge person there, i did. he gave me a **** and bull story and would not register me or let me vote.

Rick,

You switched to Sprite?! Don't you realize that Sprite is owned by the CocaCola Corporation and they are one of the largest donors to the Republican...
Don't you realize that the CocaCola Corporation dumps manufacturing waste products in over 35 rivers and streams around the U.S. leading to fish kills from over-carbonization? Do you realize that Vice President ****** Cheney has over 100K shares of stock in CocaCola, that is where he moved his money after selling his Haliburton stock in 2000 before the election?

OK, I made all that up. However, I bet if we did a little research, we could deprive you of Sprite just like Seven-Up and Dr Pepper!

I do remember your voter registration problem post from a while back. Hence why I am reminding you to re-register to vote. I'm like the MTV Rock The Vote for the cbid forum!

In regards to your mysterious registration problem, you simply got purged from the voter list. Over the years, I have had the priviledge of working with 68 different Supervisors of Elections including some in California. Every state requires by law that they purge the voter rolls of people that have not voted in a period of time and not specified that they wish to remain registered. That is the voter responsibility to maintain his or her voting rights. This is to keep dead people from voting like they did in Chicago for JFK in 1960. The way most purge their rolls are to look for inactivity in election cycles. When you sign in at the polling place, they mark off your name to keep you from voting twice and they use this to track inactivity. Skip a few elections and you get dropped because your either dead, moved away, or don't care anymore. Most counties send you a notification that you are about to get dropped but it does get buried in junk mail if you aren't looking closely. It varies according to state law as to whether they are required to make this notification. The problem for Supervisors of Elections is that dead people rarely unregister to vote before dying and people that move rarely change their registration so you only catch them if they re-register somewhere else and truthfully answer the question about previous registration. Nobody tells the Supervisors of Elections about convicted felons so dropping those are problematic.

Being in California, you can feel pretty safe that this isn't another black helicopter conspiracy against you. Almost certainly you'll find out that your county Supervisor of Elections is a democrat and that is who purged you.

Time to re-register so you can vote for whoever the Democrats nominate, including the possibility of Jack The Ripper! Both political parties rely on having a certain percentage of the population vote for whoever the party nominates without any thought. The nice thing about this is all you then have to do is campaign for the middle ground undecided and that is the group that gets offered all the entitlements to buy their vote. The guaranteed voting blocks for each party get nothing except the threat that voting for the other party would make their situation worse!

You know, if you have your mind set on Jack the Ripper, you could consider a write in candidate. You could even write in yourself. Then when the Supervisor of Elections reports the statistics for your precinct, you should see your name as having gotten a vote or else something is fishy.
