How exactly does the edit bid feature work and what can you change with it? I just bid on a lot and bid my maximum bid instead of using auto-bid by accident, and couldnt seem to edit it.

There is a link right next to the "edit bid" button that explains it. But it pretty much says you can only do that within 30 minutes of placing your bid.

Using the "edit bid" feature is tricky, for me. Usually by the time I've figured it out my max bid has been posted long enough that it probably isn't worth the effort..........

It works. I've used it a number of times. I have cable connection, so it's quicker than dial-up. But it does work.

It wouldn;t allow me to lower my bid either, and I was on a T-1 connection, and spotted my error immediately. Fortunately, I didn't bid more than what the cigars were worth to me, just more than I might have had to pay for them :/
