Had a great night last night as our neighbors came over after dinner. After watching our Dallas Stars kick some Blue Jacket @ss, we went out to the patio where we had what could be our last cigar together. He's an ex-Marine - just got back from a year of serving as a reserve - and now he's off to the FBI academy. He had a Monte #3, I had my first Davidoff Millennium (wow!!!) and we sipped Remy XO. What a great time! (too bad he's moving - the Remy was his...)

Yo al: No such thing as an ex-Marine ! Once a Marine always a Marine. JonR

Don't get to proud, the Jackets are 26 th in the league

...well...not since he got dishonorably discharged for being caught using the chopper to smuggle those drugs...and hookers....and stolen classified files...

just kidding - I request that cbid remove the "ex" in front of marine...

wards,

Yeah and we're keeping them there!!! (an 11 game unbeaten streak IS something to be proud of!!!)

Actually last night was a great night....

1. I was playing cigar box tetris...and way at the bottom i found my 2 bundles of Don Douglas Maduros...i checked my past invoices...and woah...have had these for 7 months now...so i decided this would be a good night to smoke 1...man was that an enjoyable smoke...to bad i only have 49 more of these babies...man for $13 a bundle...these were a great deal...

2. My wife had her first cigar...ok...so a Tatiana Vanilla cigar is not per say a "real" cigar...but heck its a start...now time to brag about this on the other thread...

lol "cigar box tetris"

I'm doing this with my coolers all the time but never thought to call it this:)

what's up, Bill? Haven't seen you in a while. What's the update on little wer?

Don Douglas Maddie??? WOW!! I've never heard of it!!! I've only had 1, another in the humi resting, but I wished I knew they had maduros!!!

BTW Ethan, that sounds like a great night, I have some Davidoffs Robustos waiting for me to smoke them, just waiting for an occasion like the one you describe (minus that dumb hockey part !! JK...LOL). And although a remy sound good, I'm into Latin drinks(don't know why since I'm Canadian!!!) Like a 15Yr old Rum, Matusalem(dayum Rob it's all your fault!!!)

Coma...

These were blowouts last year...not to be confused with the new Don Douglas cabinet Series by Bucanero...but for $13 a bundle of 25...one of the great values from the past....

Then again i wonder if we are talking about the same thing...

Glad you liked the ME. How bout a review?

Yeah, I was going to email you....thank you VERY much for that wonderful gift! It really met my expectations - which were pretty high. By the time I fired that baby up, I had already had some wine, some beer, and was getting into the Remy - but from what I can remember, it was a fuller richer version of the Davidoff 2000 (the only other Davidoff I've had). First of all it was gorgeous, then the cut was easy - I cut a very small hole and the draw was perfect. Lit easily and the burn was always perfect, although the ash never held for more than an inch. It actually tasted amazing from the first puff - like I said, had the creamy toastiness of the Davidoff 2000, but developed into a rich tobacco/cocoa flavor - can't really describe it in detail as I was also paying the Remy and the conversation a lot of attention - but it was very, very enjoyable!!

Oh, Joe, you had me going there for a while, I thought Bucs came out with a maddie of the "DD", I was gonna flip!! I have no idea what cigar you are talking about, but I hope you enjoy it!!
