I've got one resting in my 'dor that my brother brought me from his New Orleans trip. He said he saw some freshies being rolled where he got these, although these are not freshies. The one I've smoked so far was a robusto sized torp with a very dark wrapper, a little rough, the cap was uneven and the band is black with silver lettering. A descent smoke, have no idea what he gave for them. A medium bodied, medium flavored smoke with a slight sweetness to the mild peppery flavor, little flavor development during the smoke. Construction was good, no canoes or uneveness. Does the appearence I described sound like what you have? I'm letting it's brother rest hoping the flavor development will improve with some age.
