Bsssdude --- that is just too funny ... and he is a pretty great guy and becoming a fast friend and true BOTL to me also.

I ordered a box of the Robusto, and he emailed me a few weeks later, just to say he had ended up with one more box (his last) that wasn't spoken for ... of the Torpedo ... and he wanted to give me the first chance at it before he let it go.

He also sent me two bags of coffee beans, and three discount coupons for future orders, one for 12%, and the other two for 10% off ...

A 'class act' all the way, as far as I'm concerned, and he's made me a loyal customer, and I couldn't wait to fire up one of the Torps tonight. Man ... these are increcible cigars, and I like 'em better than the Robusto!

Although, being the 'LOD' ... I do have to say that your are 'pushing the envelope' a little (and you know what I mean) ... 😉

rasdas --- it's possible that he considered you one of my 'associates', because of the content of this is the email I received from him:

"I have an extra box of Carlos Torano Tribute Torpedo cigars. Would you or one of your associates be interested in it at the original price: $165.00 plus shipping? This is for the Torpedo cigars and not the Robusto that you normally order.

"Just thought I would check with you first before putting it out on the general market, or offering it to one of our wholesale clients, shops, etc."

We've had been sending several emails back and forth over the past month, and I got the impression from this email, that I was the first ... sniff, sniff ... 😉

I just got my box of robustos from the same place at the promised price. James is a man of his word and also sent me some free coffee and 10% off coupons to smooth over the misunderstanding. I will definitely buy from hum again.
