Has anyone tried the Mayorga "High Octane" or the genuine counterfit cubans? Tried the archives but the damn thing loaded every thread posted.

had the same problem with the archives. They work now. Anyhow, the Counterfeit Cubans are Great when properly aged. I got some a while back and they were OK. Let them sit a few months and they were a tasty kick ass smoke. So I bought a few more. Very young once again. These may need even more 'dor time.

The Counterfeit Cubans are pretty good. Let them age, as whatshisface said 😉 and they'll be nice full-bodied smokes for you. They're painted, so don't be shocked if they're dark reddish brown when you get them, and then they're a much lighter shade by the time they're ready to smoke. Can't help you on the Mayorga HO though.

oh, best size I found from the entire line is the Churchill. I'm partial to robusto and toro sizes but the Churchill the best in this line IMO.

Didn't much care for the Genuine Counterfit Cubans I've tried.Would like to try the Mayorga HO's myself on a side note anybody try the Mayorga Crystal Rounds as yet?

Kind of a gimmick but looks cool as hell. Also it is a sampler, so you get to try the whole High Octane line. If they taste anything like regular Mayorgas then they have to be good.

Go ahead...Say WHAT again!!...I dare ya!!!...Samuel L Jackson from Pulp Fiction...Try the Pre-Embargo Genuine Counterfeit Cubans...They IMHO are better than the regular GCCS...Haven't tried the Mayorga HO's yet...A good friend is sending me a couple to try(should arrive today!) so I'm pretty anxious...I'd rather try a couple sticks before buying a whole box, although the Pyramid shaped box looks pretty cool!
