Nice car Rick. My dad had a TR 2. Almost the same but had no door handles, and the grill was recessed.

Love to have one! The TRs cost too much $$$!

My dad's TR4 just won 1st place at the National Triumph Show (2nd year straight)- maybe one day it will be mine....

Sweet ride! I fondly remember my uncle buying a new TR6 back 'in the day'...he still has it in pristine shape, too.

Excellent, there is nothing like an open top car to enjoy driving!

My first car was a 1952 MG TD I assembled from parts after the previous owner gave up a restoration. Classic British sports cars are a lot of fun, especially if you are an excellent mechanic and electrician. Nothing like semi synchro gearboxes, SU Carburetors and best of all an electrical system from Lucas Electric, better known as, "Lucas, The Price of Darkness"

The TR-3 does have a tough little tractor motor. I spoke to a local fellow that has a TR-3 he rescued from eleven years in a carport. He cleaned the fuel system out changed the oil and got it running.

Now days I like American Iron, a 1993 Corvette rag top.

Triumph GT6 and later GT6+. The body style is like a spitfire but as a hardtop fastback. The same six cylinder drivetrain they used in TR250s and later TR6.

I've seen guys put the GT6 engine into spitfires. Makes a kicka** little roadster.

If I'm not mistaken the GT6 was made as a production car to qualify it for LeMans competition in about 67 or 68. I saw My first one as a young teenager and I've been lusting ever since. British Racing Green with the camel interior please.
