I keep reading how good these are. I want to hear it from someone who has actually tried one. For $15 bucks a stick it better cook me breakfast the next morning...

Personally, I think they are an excellent cigar. Now if you ask me if they are they worth the price, it all depends on the individual.

Each line has a different flavor profile. I happen to like the Blue Line, which I believe is the Professional Line. It is a little more potent and flavorful than the Red line. I have one of the Sun Growns sleeping in my humidor for a special occassion, like when I finally find a job.

I am glad that I was able to afford a couple of them at a rolling event last year, but am no longer able to afford to spend that kind of money on a cigar.

I've had the pirate and I thought it was a lousy cigar, especially for the price and I've not tried their newer lines. However, I have have heard good things about the Crystal ine which uses a sun grown wrapper. X

I prefer the Crystal line and while I think they are a fine cigar, and impeccably rolled, I'm reluctant to spend that kind of money on a Graycliff, unless I'm in the Bahamas.

I've had a few and never found one to be
worth the money.

I'm going to the Bahamas in several months and planned on stopping at the Graycliff to pick up some puros from the source. Are they cheaper if you get them there? I also heard you can get a nice selection of ISOM's at the hotel. I've been warned about fakes so I'm dubious. I just won a Graycliff sampler, I'll let you know how they are!

I was just gifted two, not sure of the line, from my son in law who returned from his honeymoon in the Bahamas. Didn't tell me the price but watched them being rolled. This was one helluva cigar !! I will definitely have to get some more !!

I like the Greycliff blue lable very much. For the record I understand the Mike Ditka Championship Seris is made by Greycliff in the same factory (and is about the same price). I also think the Bahiba Cigar line is the "cheapie" cigar made in the factory. I found the ISOM prices in the Bahamas to be higher than Canada and certainly not a bargin.

Yes, the Bahiba line is made by Graycliff, but does not conotain the highest level of tobacco that the Graycliffs have.

I would try the Bahiba first before shelling out that kind of money on the originals.

The one I tried was underwhelming...

I was going to buy a box of the Crystals, don't know how much they're gonna go for at the hotel. Hope they are discounted somewhat. Heck I figure if a guy's gonna go all the way to the Bahamas, he shouldn't have to pay retail for those babies!
