newbie here....... I've run out of room in my two basic humidors.(thanks to cbid) Not ready to build a biggie yet. Thinking about just using an old habanos box for now. Can you reccomend a small humidifier from cbid I could use this way ? Any thoughts ? Thanks

convert a cooler... save your money for more cigars 😉

I spent a whole $9.95 complete to build a huge coolerdor type. A smaller one would be very easy and affordable. Probably easier than trying to convert a old box...and more reliable.

Just go big now, it's not going to get any easier to find room. Convert a bathroom or something. Just remember, the more room for smokes that you have, the more smoke you have to buy, it's simple really.

Hey Niteorday, there is a good deal on samplers, its pirates gold treasure chest. it comes with a travel humidor 8 fat cigars and a humidifier. you will like the fact that you can fill and go or take out the humidifier put it in your other box or tupperwere and thats going to work very well untill yous get the biggest cooler yous can get your hands on,sos you can make a coolador. aloha,

NorD: yep. make your own humidifier for that habanos box if you want to use it as a humidor.

1. get a plastic condiment cup w/plastic lid
2. get some WET-style floral foam
3. stick the foam in the cup, punch some holes in the lid (or slice open lines in it like i did)
4. ta-da. rest it on the bottom of you habanos box, and you're humideriffic!

or skip the foam, get some climmax beads, same set up (but just wet the beads with distilled H2O), you're even betteriffic.
