Yesterday was my birthday so I pulled one of my favorite smokes out of the cooler....a padron 2000 maduro with about a year's rest on it. What a great reliable cigar! It's not the highest end cigar in the world, but always very consistant. Love that earthy, sweet padron flavor....full, but not harsh. It burns perfectly straight, never needs correction (unlike my kids), burns to the nub and you can let it sit for 10 minutes without a draw without needing to relight.

I was with good friends, wife, and son drinking some Labatts Blue, had some "birthday pie" (wife brought Bakers Sq. french silk). Does it get any better?

The icing was coming into the office today to find my trade from Jazzman with 8 wonderful smokes. Life is good.

Mr. Buttman

Happy birthday and thanx for the trade!!!

Happy yester-Birthday, Butt. Today is mine, so I am smoking one of the PSD#4 2001 EL's I been eyeing for a year or so in my humi. After lunch, with a diet Coke. Pretty good cigar. If I get a chance later I will fire up an 858 SG.

I agree. I've never had a bad Padron 2000 maddie. Great cigar.

Happy birthday.

Happy b-day...

And yaup...that is why the Padron 2000 maddie is my go to gar...

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!

Haven't had the 2000. Plenty of 3000 naturals and a few 3000 maddies. To me it seems like these are rolled to sparse. Still very good. Maybe the 2000s are tighter.

Happy bday. I have a week before mine and I guess I'll have to start lining them up.

Happy B-Day !!

Happy b-day..... I bought a 1926 Padron Maduro Sampler and I am saving one for my birthday in October. I am down to three out of four cigars left. I don't know if one will live until October........Might just have to smoke something differant on my b-day..........
