I was lying when I said that stuff before, now I'm telling the truth, but it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm trying to sell a book. So Mr. Clark, you're saying that you are an admitted lier? But we should believe you? Which time were you lying again? I'm confused...

Exactly, it's all a Republican conspiracy. People who think that are pretty simple.

Fact: He has TWO versions of what happened:
1) how everything was going while he was employed;
2) how it went AFTER he was denied a promotion.

Try to be objective here people, he was under oath for both 'versions', so by process of elimination ONE version is probably a lie (since they contradict each other).

And don't try your usual defense of "well your guy did it", or "someone else in history has done it, so it's ok". Those are worn out and sad excuses. You can come up with something better, can't you?

Clinton talked recently at the Democratic Party Unity dinner. He said 3 things that resonnate. I'm paraphasing here but as close as possible to what he said.

1) Republicans want to eliminate any rational thinking and evaluation of candidates based on facts that are adverse to the party agenda.

2) They do this most effectively by presenting real 3 dimensional people with ideas, plans and ambitions to make our country a better place, as distorted 2 dimensional charicatures and cartoons that ridicule, misrepresent and deceive us as to these real people's true agenda. They call this "defining" their opponents.

3) In doing this along with numerous attacking assertions based in lies or presented completely out of context, these efforts serves to prevent you from making an honest evaluation of what's best for this country. In essence... Republicans make a major effort to dumb you down. They just don't want you to think. They cannot deal with differing points of view in any way shape or form. They present cartoons like this to disparage, destroy and deceive (like the one presented in this and many other threads). The "Attack Dog" stategy has been very effective for Republicans in the past and has become the main weapon in their arsenel. And they're very, very good at this....

In the absence of any real accomplishments benefiting an large number of Americans and numerous failures by the Bush administration, the Republican party faithful does everything in its power to hide those facts from you and cloud your mind with these "cartoons" that viciously disparage opponents.

Personally I thought Clinton was so right on about this and the evidence infests this board like a plague.
I guess the "cartoon" that started this thread pretty much reinforces the fact that Clinton is right.

I guess it all boils down to what your own definition of "is" is. We know already that some get confused by this.
Each to their own though.

I worry much more about Bush's lies, than Clinton Lying about a ****. I voted for Bush Sr. twice, he was a man of honor. I voted for W. once, as he has showed that he is not 1/3 the man his father was, and I will not vote for the Shrub again. I am leaning towards believeing Clark, as Bush has been proven to be a pathalogical liar, but the jury is still out on Clark.

Clark has contradicted himself, what is the damn jury waiting on?

dbguru- you are right on about the attacks on the political figures being based on cartoons because there is no REAL ground to base an argument on. You cite this one, I challenge you to count how many like this and worse have been posted be RICKAMAVEN! I think Slick Willie was delineating the Democratic Party's own strategy myself!

By the way, the REAL issue with Slick Willie was no more about a BJ than Al Capones major offence was tax evasion! He sold US missle telemetry technology to China, and lo and behold China made a major illeagle campaign contribution to his re-election bid. You can't track the money through all the cut-outs and patsys, but you can't play footsie with Monica without being in the same room, so that was PROVABLE! And the Congress lost their NERVE! Clinton deserves the treatment the Rosenburgs got!
