don't store it by the stove... 😉

How hot is it in your humi?

I would suggest someplace that is darker, like a closet.

Ahhh beetle territory! I've tried all sorts of locations in my house as it gets hot in Texas and I'm too cheap to keep my house that cool. I have a coffee table with a lower portion (if that makes sense) where I keep it when it heats up and then when it gets really hot I put it either on a closet shelf or the top of the refrigerator b/c both are near the a/c vents - be careful as the cool air directly on it can dry it out.

Be very careful of the possibility that the eggs might hatch at this temp.

Why don't you turn the A/C on for just a little bit?

right now i have them in the fridge, until i feel safe enough that i can put them in the humidor or find the proper place to put the humi to bring the temp down.

I pay a premium to run my central air as much as I do, but I don't let my temp in my apartment get above 70 degrees. With the investment I have in cigars I can't afford an invitation to the dreaded tobacco beetle. Which you invite at temps above 70 degrees. Sometimes in summer I wonder if it is worth it. But I, so far, am willing to invest, in order to have peace of mind about my stogies. Just my thoughts..................

Be careful with the fridge, they use evaporative cooling which means they cool by removing humidity. Your gars will be at 70 but dry as a bone in no time.

Closer to the floor is cooler as heat rises. My wife is cold blooded so I have to be careful too.
