how far is Edenton from the Outer Banks?

The outer banks are about 40 miles away by boat, 50 overland.

Ok. The wife and I like to ride down to the OB every now and then just to get away from Hampton Roads.

I too in MD and just purchased some Waterfront property on the Bird River in Baltimore County. I gotta tell ya...when I saw this I thought, "Man...I know just how this guy feels!!!"
