some of the packages i get it looks like the guy spent an hour just wrapping the cigars up,and it takes me at least that long just to get too them.

i just put them in a bag, and fill the space with bubble wrap, or peanuts.

has anybody ever had a problem with the condition of any cigars that i have sent.

just want to know if i package good enough,

or should i spend more time protecting the cigars i send??????????????????????????

looking for opinions.

You might want to pose this question on the 'Trades' Board ...

... that is where most of this activity takes place ...

I think that most people go overboard packing cigars because they probably want to come down on the side of protection, even if it is over-protection. I know I do. Most of my shipments could probably withstand an earthquake with no problem. Can't help myself.......just the paranoia I guess........when I visualize a package arriving with broken, unraveled, useless cigars..........

Just my thoughts..........and sorry hdking....get the cutting torch and metal snips ready.........

I also like to err on the side of caution whenever possible. I recycle all my boxes, peanuts etc. for this occasion. The extra weight/postage for a decent sized box is pretty minimal.

Either way, pack the box tight!!! Ahem.

I just got a box of Hemi's shipped in. The guy put the box in a large cardboard box with NO packing material. It was rattling around in there like at Edna's cat.

Wasn't a problem though...

I put them in Humi-pouches and sometimes add filler to the box if it is larger than those little USPS Priorty mail boxes.

Humi-pouches are worth the extra few bucks...and can be reused to send sticks on to someone else...

no, not really talking about anyone,

some of the guys that ship me cigars, each cigar is wrappen in saranwrap, and taped, then all the cigars are put in a zip lock and taped, then bubble wrapped,

put in a box and then filled with peanuts.

when i send out cigars,i put them in a bag, then i put them in a box, and fill the space with peanuts.

i just wondered if that was good enough, and if anyone has recieved a cigar from me that was damaged?
