I happened across this today and would like an explanation as to why Daschle is so dumb......
But while the American people need help, some partisan Democrats in Washington would rather score political points than help our economy.

This past week, Majority Leader Daschle said the Senate would not even consider economic security legislation unless it was approved by two-thirds of the Democrats in the Senate. That means as few as 18 liberals can block anything from moving in the Senate. It gives Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton veto power!

And Senator Harry Reid, (D-NV), the Senate Democrats' Assistant Majority Leader, proudly admitted on Sunday that Senate Democrats were obstructing the President's and the nation's business on a number of fronts. (Interview with Brit Hume on Fox News Sunday, 12/9/01)

Democrat and Dumb begin with the same letter..."D"! That was fun! We need some good heated discussions on the political side once again! Daschle is not only dumb, he sounds like Mr. Rogers when he talks, and I expect him to start singing "What a wonderful day in the neighborhood....." Charlie

Man,I couldn't even handle watching that show even when I was just a midget.Now as for Da$$whole and the dems holding any kind of stimulus package hostage until they get their pet pork projects though,I'm friggin' sick of it!Not to mention while these porkers sit there doing nothing and people are being laid off left and right.These scum-suckers voted themselves a $4900 pay raise.Wake up America!!!

the congress has a better sysem for raises. they have automatic raises, UNLESS THEY VOTE NOT TO GET THE RAISE.
