Just wanted to give a shout out to the overlooked little sister to the Padron Anniversario 1964 Maduro. While the PAM gets most of the attention - one must not underestimate the Padron Anniv. Natural - I had my first PAN last night after only enjoying PAMs and I was pleasantly surprised. This baby had almost all of the full rich flavor of it's darker sibling! Absolutely wonderful! So don't overlook the PAN in search of a PAM - they are certainly worthy of the same accolades! All hail Padron!!!

al'T, didn't you detect some subtle hints of galanga root and lingonberry butter?

Oh yeah.... (man, you have a good memory!!)

you know... that was a 26 and I must say the flavor profile was pretty different. That one was lighter w/ more complex and subtle flavors, this one was more similar to a maddie...ok, so it was my second....
