Been away from the boards for a while and thought I would drop a line. Hope everyone had a good X-Mas and will have a Great New Year. Just been painting my house and smoking a few good cigars and drinking Killians Red. What a life.........Just won a bid on the new cigar called The Cigar by Perdomo........anyone have any feedback on this cigar. Won a 5 pk. for $12, are they worth it?

Welcome back Mike. I think The Cigar by Perdomo needs some time to rest before smoking. I tried them when they first came out. A little harsh. I've heard they get better with age. Try the Perdomo Cuban Parejo.

Yep ... I love them! Powerful smoke ... better if aged a little. They retail for around $17 a 5-pack for the Robusto, so you got a good deal!

Slim. You shouldn't agree with me. According to MN_Mike I'm immature and lack any true knowledge of cigars. I don't want to drag you down in my ignorance. (Not to mention that Rickamaven called me riff raff). LOL

And the opinion from this ignoramous is, I like the Cigar straight out of the box. I smoke them regularly and find them to be the right strength with a great flavor. Some have to be hit a couple of times to get the right amount of smoke but they are well worth the price you paid. Duh, did I say all that without getting a headache or falling down?

My aren't we all getting a little sensative today? Never smoked one, so don't have and "expert" opinion on them, and I have found Ed, Jack and Slimboli to have good "taste" when it comes to cigars, cigars being the operative word here! Have a Happy New Year to all of you! Charlie

"Some have to be hit a couple of times" i have always found reasoning will get a better response and you did a good job not falling down. but don't rush the chewing gum and thinking at the same time. guess who can't? (did i go off on a tangent?)(again?)

I don't want to have another gum chewing incident. I learnt goodly from the first one.

I have both the robustos and churchills. They all came a liitle wet and would not stay lit without a lot of care. But they are a good smoke after they dry out for awhile cj

I've had both the Torpedo and Robusto and have not had a bad cigar(out of about 20) yet!

I've tried the torp & the churchill. They are made by Perdomo, so they can'y be all bad. Like all the other guys said, with a little time in your humi, they'll be a great smoke.
