Anyone using chat software like MIRC to have live cigar chats and keep in touch? I can set up a room and info to get connected if anyone interested. Let me know.

Or is there one live now that I am unaware of?

i've been in chatrooms that were cop-related, but i've not seen any cigar-related. sounds good, though!

yeah I run a few rooms for games (online games).

Cop related? we should talk cav 🙂

just thought it would be cool to have a room for people to pop in and say hi or talk about cigars and our hobby. If no one interested thats fine too 🙂

I brought this up back when I first got here as well...

There are some chat rooms but not on this site. One guy here made a chat room for us but I don't remeber the URL. And there is IRC if you know how to use it.

Undernet.org

From a Unix shell account -

Type "irc" to enter your local IRC server.

type "/server undernet.org" (your IRC client will pick the best

undernet server to use) and

then "/join #cigarsmokers" or "/join #Cigarz" (no quotes, of course)

most of the channel "regulars" sign on around 10:00 - 11:00 pm est.

Or #Cigarbid in IRC it was easy to make....

C'mon, you guys can't be serious. There are many cigar BBSs on line, some with a chat feature. Right now, as I'm writing this post, there are 8 guys chatting in the Herfer's Paradise chatroom. HP is one of the most active user supported cigar forums on the web. It is unsponsored, part of EZBoards. Several folks from this forum participate there. It's not a commercial site. We keep it going by having an annual fundraiser. The HP forum is averaging about 25 thousand hits per day with 750 to 800 posts, and chat almost every evening.

If anyone wants to stop by, here's the site address:

http://b2.ezboard.com/bherfersparadise

well then , no reason to re-invent the wheel. See you there soon 🙂
