This is the first Opus X I've seen, touched, or sniffed. It also will be the first I smoke. It's a Super Belicoso, but the picture is only slightly indicative of that.

I like the picture because it's done with the macro function of the camera, and it's focused right at the front of the label... right on the FF. Now, this is neat because the outer edges go out of focus, and it looks sort of hazy, which I think is very cool.

Anyway.. I'm a bit bored... sorry.

I absolutely love the way the wrapper on the Opus looks. MMMM.....delicious!!

I have yet to even SEE an Opus. I am looking though, but i don't know of any "Great" cigar shops in the Dallas area.

Yeah, problem is I don't smoke in my house, and the only local cigar shop is owned by a complete ****... Some (most) of you guys have as many cigars in stock as this guy... it's pathetic that he calls it a "store." Everywhere else is a bar..

I will find somewhere nice. I'm letting it rest for a while anyway. It's got a year and 7 months already ( 🙂 ) but I'll let it rest for a bit longer...nothing wrong with that. I'll find the right time...

If you're in the Dallas area, find the Cool River Cafe. They have one in Austin, complete with a cigar lounge. It's hands down my favorite herfin' joint. Do a search, they have a website.

In Downtown Ft Worth, there is a tobocco shop that is an Opus X dealer. The store is called Tobacco Lane On the Square and it's just about 2 blocks down from the Worthington hotel. Outstanding walk-in humidor, one of the best I've seen (and I travel ALOT). Give them a try. They won't sell Opus over the phone or on the web, but you can get them if they have them and you walk in. I've been lucky there several times.

Let's see how long the competing shop info lasts - LOL! Although, it's not really a competitor since CI NEVER offers Opus-X on the auction.

Probably a good thing - I can only imagine what the dolts would pay for them!

But then....that's a dead horse.
