I just wanted to thank Scott publicly for his "above and beyond approach....return package coming back at him 5/24......Tim aka Kornazoo

Scott,

After letting the CFW sit for a couple of days in the temperature controlled Freezidor (yes I built one), I am sitting on my deck enjoying the heck out of it. Just reading the forums and puffing away... Your cigar is SUPER! More full bodied that I would have expected from looking at the light golden wrapper. Perfect Cut, Light and Burn... Halfway through it has warmed up to a slightly woody taste with something I cant place as an undertone. almost a nutty flavor. I like it and hope you like the return as well...

Cheers

Thanks guys, you are all too kind.

Dave (dccrens) I am thinking of turning my garage fridge into a fridgador...what did you use to controll the temp?

Scott,

I had a 10 cu foot chest freezer that I lined with 1/4" spanish cedar. The cedar cost about $60 total. I used a "hot glue" gun to stick the panels in to the bottom and sides.

I bought some stackable plastic 21 X 8 X 5 inch bins at a local store and lined the bottoms with cedar. Perfect for holding singles.

I ordered a Johnson Controls temperature regulator from a brewing supply place on the web for $99. It has a settable differential and works perfect. I have the temp set to 73 and the diff set to 2 so when the temp rises to 73 the freezer kicks in a when it drops to 71 it cuts off. Temp has been maintaining between 69 and 72 for days. Also freezer doesn't seem to stay on long enough to raise the humidity. I use a half pound of climax beads for RH control.

Cheers
