Is everyone as sick and tired of waiting for the humidor that they bid on or is it just me!

Especially if you live in the NWest....where our CBid orders take 7 days.

I have a JFK 70-count on the way....that will soon be home to 55 "O" Bolds. Yum!

Smelly, my advise to you and everyone else on the west coast is, switch your shipping to USPS from UPS. It is well worth the extra money, and with summer comming soon, the heat will get to your smokes if you stay with UPS. I switched to USPS (Priority Mail) many months ago after the Big Brown Truck always took sooo darn long, and then to see my smokes sit in an empty wearhouse for a couple of days just killed me.

Now my bids ship USPS on Thursday/Friday, and I have actually received it on Saturday! If not Saturday, Monday is almost a sure thing. Just a couple of days and my winning bids arrive!

Grab your phone and call CBid customer service NOW!!!

You can thank me later, heheheheeeee.

I thought it had to go UPS if it was over a certain value...

DUH, your right. It is suppose to go UPS over $50-, but I have been getting most through USPS anyways, even for shipments closer to $100-. I'm not complaining, because the service is great here. Yesterdays delivery was 2, 5-Packs of Torano Reserva's, 9-Pack of Trilogy, and a OtterBox Humidor 5000, the sub-total was $81- then shipping on top of that. I love CBID!!!

My problem hasnt been shipping its the fact that they have been out of stock for a month and they didnt bother to tell me they are on back order and being shipped from CHINA! I was told maybe in another week or two they will get them in but yet they continue to offer the same humidors for bid while the unsuspecting bidders assume they are in stock.

If I'm not mistaken Richard, you won the Sterling Display humidor. We haven't had any of them up for auction since April because of the backorder. The only one listed recently is a Scratch & Dent humidor, which we didn't believe you'd want for the price of a new one.

I'm very sorry for the delay, but in the times we live in, things can get held up in Customs for a very long time.

If you'd like to discuss other options, you can send me an email to [email protected].

Thanks

As always, if you have a problem w/ cbid - call customer service - as Trish just exhibited cbid is ALWAYS willing to do everything in their power to take care of their customers - complaining on the boards isn't a good method

Don't get mad at CBid Customer Service, they are great!!!

Smelly, if your grrrrr'ing to them about shiping, just go with USPS, they will gladly switch you and then you can be as happy as a clam, heheheeee! My cigars are much happier now that I switched, because they get extra days of rest in my humis instead of the UPS Warehouse.

Just the opposite for me. I get mine faster with UPS than throught the Post Office. With UPS, Cbid ships Thursday and I get it Friday. It can take a week using the USPS.

I too have them ship via UPS on Thursdays... I usually wait 3-4 days. Not too bad, unless it is summer... then it could get ugly for the gars. It is consistently in the 90's at my house during the summer. Outside anyway...

Yeah, it's been pretty darn hot in Hotlanta lately too... I may do a pre-emptive freeze when I get my next shipment like some of the other BOTL say they do.

I HATE UPS! How can tell when something is shipped UPS? It comes crushed and all beat-up. Al you have to do is write "fragile" on the box and you can bet it's coming to you dented, crushed, or just dragged behind the truck. UPS SUCKS!!

Hopefully today is the day that I get my JFK humi and 2 boxes of cigars, that I thought were going to be in last week's CBid shipment.

Fingers crossed.
