Has anyone tried these? Are they a good smoke?

Thanks,

I like them just not in the flat tongue depressor style.

Dear Bassdude:

Give them a try again. Last year we blended the cigar for a richer taste and they are lightly boxpressed. I highly recommend them

Regards.

I have about a dozen of the torp shape - but I think they are the old blend.

I always keep some of these in my humidor. Very tasty. While I don't mind the "tongue depressor" shape too much. it is a bit odd.

Another Perdomo with a Cameroon wrapper you may want to try is ths Casa Montez. These are one of my current favorites. These have an extreme box press-totally square

which I find a little uncomfortable.

I have a bunch of the Perdomo 2 Milenario Cameroon not a big fan of the box press, but I always wanted to see the Parejo box pressed like the Genuine Cuban Counterfit.

Nick:

I think you make some of the nicest box pressed cigars on the market! True craftsmanship. Don't ever stop as some of us prefer them.

Dear Craig:

Thanks for the kind words. I bet there is something that you didn't know about the Perdomo family when my family left Cuba we lived in Baltimore. I lived there until I was eleven. Great city with nice people. I still have that Baltimore accent.

Take Care.

They are high on my list of favorites.

I didn't at first, but I now favor the box press shape.

Holds better in the teeth when my hands are full or if I'm working in the yard...like today.

As a matter of fact........(digging through the humidor)...

Nick:

I think your web-site is unparralled with regards to its content. And as such, I do recall reading of your connection to Baltimore at some point.

So the next time your here "hosting an event with Ray Lewis"...if you have some free time, I'll be the first to buy ya a cold 'Natty Boh, and some Maryland Steamed Crabs! "Er ya go 'Hon!

Craig

Not to revive a dead post or anything, but man, I live in Baltimore and it's crazy to think the Perdomo family used to roam these same streets!

GreatSmokes, the P2 that is. Both the Cameroon Wrapper, and the Maddies. The Perdomo Reserves can't be beat, especially the Maddies. They taste like a freakin chocolate bar. I have never had a bad Perdomo, since I learned the secret, of storing them at 65% humidity. They burn great, taste great, and I like the box press. If you don't like boxpressed, try thr Perdomo Mistakes, same blend, in a round torp.

Later

Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)

P.S. I only admited how great they are, after laying in a few years supply. LOL

I am a novice and have only tried the Signiture Collection. Every one, this cigar starts out very mild and is rather enjoyable. When you get to the end the flavors just build and build and you just don't want to put it down. Super tasty!

I smoked it on the fourth, it was a robusto that came with the travel humidor sampler. I will most definity try more perdomo cigar.

Just read the the length of this post. I must say that I trully feel like I missed out on alot, not being here sooner. I mean man Nick Perdomo, just wrote in like an average joe. He seemed to be a very genuine person. I feel very unfortunate that I wasn't around to hear the insight of such a man.

I am sold. I began smoking the C. Cubans; suprisingly, the whole box was plugged! Either that or the same rollers that Kramer used (Seinfeld), Nick borrowed. No offense intended Nick. Your brother Billy made it all right; he bumped me another box.

I moved from there to the "Bullets"; better. Smoked nice, ash held on and didn't taste all that bad. From there, I tried the Perdomo 2. The maddies are dreamy. Love these to the point of obsession. The Cammies I tried were nat as good; nice, but not the maddies. I recently picked up here on CBID some of the La Tradicion Cabinet Series, 'Rosado'. Excellent! I had a maddie "Cigar" hiding in my humi- time to try that. Again, beauty! I'm sold. I just won an auction for 50 of the 'mistake' Cameroons......Nick, my condolences for dad. tell Billy the same. I'll probably see you next friday eve as I work in Doral.

Hooked.........
