Did anyone take advantage of the current Gispert offer by Altadis? Are these sticks any good or is this just a quick way to introduce a mediocre line to the consumer?

I have tryed 3 belicosos and a toro. I thought they were great and they are becoming a current go-to cigar. They were medium bodied and smooth with a slightly sweet cedar flavor with hints of spice. So far they have been pretty consistent and well constructed. I recently purchased a box of the belicosos and I expect that some additional aging could make them even better. I recommend that you try a five pack.

My buddy ordered a box, and I chipped in. Once they rested for a little bit they are a really good cigar. I agree with the "go to" analogy. As much as I like trying new cigars, sometimes I just want to smoke something I know I will enjoy. The Gispert does this.

Have had the churchill size and it was a nice, mild smoke... nothing fancy but not bad... would try the others

Now I got a 5-pack a whle ago and smoked one. It was terrible. It was very bland and flavorless. I wold rate it was very ver mild and tasted similiar to cardboard. I put the other 4 up to try to ad some age to them and wil try again this winter or next summer. I did purchase one at my local tobacconist's and had the same results as the first one too.

I asked my wife to try the first one to see if it was just me andmy taste buds being off, but she agreed that it had no flavor to it at all.

Have you ever noticed how sometimes, you see someone you've never seen post before, rave about a cigar you've never heard of before? It wouldn't be possible for a competitor to use a card to open an account and try to post something on a competitors board in an effort to build some business would it? Naaaa, that would never happen...

I stand corrected, I hadn't seen 550025 post, I did a search and he's been posting (although not much) for some time... Sorry KV, please accept my apology.
