I just got a box I won last week, Bahia Corona Gigante. It came in a cardboard box with the PO but no packing material? No peanuts? No newspaper? I think this is a first for me. I've received "many" boxes from cbid and they are ALWAYS packed well. Has anyone else ever received a naked box in a box? rattling around?

This happened to someone a while back and the thread was quite humorous. The box apparently was damaged so the USPS repackaged it and put in one or a coupl of peanuts from what I remember.

The main thing is were the gars harmed?

No, the sticks are fine, and this is definitely the box they were shipped in. It has all of the CI stickers in original condition.

I just found it very odd. Maybe somebody was hung over or late for a break?

Actually, I just took the plastic off the box and opened it, the cigars are fine, but the box has a pretty healthy gash in the side.

Maybe the peanutz had a prison break and escaped? X

... maybe the package was attacked by hungry elephants...

I'm matchless. But I don't have much more room to store them 😉 I've taken to building small scuptures with them.

The shipment I received today had LOTS of peanuts. I probably got yours. When I opened the box they went all over the place.
